Life is an explanation of what your time on earth has been.
During your life you have gaps that are explained away as time passing bye.
Other times you are forced to watch as your life passes you bye.
Sometimes your time spent away from life means watching the life of others go bye.
Over time you remember the life of others who are no longer around to spend time with.
The lives of others may take up your time, but attribute much to your own life.
The time I spent to write this was a very slow period of a day in my life.
