Sooo...

Today wasn't exactly what I would want for a day off.
I woke up around noon, which was nice for a change, and started working on a back log of paperwork.
As a truck driver Im required to keep logs of miles traveled in what states, routes taken, and fuel receipts. I was more or less 20 days behind.

While doing trip reports, I was also doing expense reports. While doing expense reports I find out that not all of the video files from our last event were uploaded.

This is always fun to hear.
I have to use two laptops, one flash drive, and one mini hard drive to convert and upload slow motion videos taken from our sucker punch wall.

Confused?

Im doing a tour for ABC's wipe out game show.
Its this crazy obstacle course based game similar to the old MXC show.
People compete in a series of time based obstacles for the chance to win $50,000.
You fall, get thrown around, catapulted, knocked in the face, slathered in mud or whip cream, folded in half, and a myriad of other humiliating painful ,but fun to watch, ways.

My job is to haul around a trailer with a 20 some foot log roll, and a 12 glove sucker punch wall using pneumatic actuators. We go to various events, currently on the east coast, and setup for a couple of days. People get the chance to compete for a shirt if they complete the course in the top 5 times, but everyone gets a water bottle or rally towel.

When a contestant goes across the sucker punch wall

they get video taped. This video can be picked up online from www.abcwipeoutroadtrip.com by use of a card we scan in, and attached to their registration info.
The video shows them getting punched in slow motion.

The log roll isn't video taped, but is fun to take part in.

You can always check out photos I take from the events at my flickr site.

My new t1 canon DSLR can take HD video, so I'm hoping to upload some of those as well soon.

So back to the original point.
I have had nothing but issues trying to upload these videos from day one.
Its been a learning curve for everyone. So while doing expense and trip reports, I find out that 68 videos have not been uploaded, even though Ive been uploading for the past two days.
In between lack of wifi at one hotel, and switching back and forth between the video and converter laptop, a mistake was made.
It was irritating to say the least.
I felt like I was the last one to know. Someone with the company text messaged one of my coworkers about the problem, but he was asleep, so I found out hours later.

In the end the videos are uploaded, I vented in a not so professional manor , and finished (I hope) all of my reports.

Im beat, now its time to eat.
